The Bavaria Fireshield Stainless Steel 9L Wet Chemical Fire Extinguisher is a professional-grade fire safety solution specifically designed for commercial kitchens, restaurants, and cooking environments. It effectively combats Class A and Class F fires caused by cooking oils, animal and vegetable fats, grease, and barbecue and grill equipment — hazards that standard dry powder extinguishers cannot handle safely.
The extinguisher operates using Bavaria RC 50 wet chemical liquid, certified according to European Standard SP-07/2000, delivering supreme extinguishing efficiency on high-hazard kitchen fires. The external pressure cylinder system allows intermittent and repeated operation, giving the user precise control over discharge. It is equipped with a high-pressure reinforced rubber hose and an ergonomic pistol for maximum maneuverability, enabling the user to attack the fire from below for optimal effectiveness.
The shell is constructed from stainless steel for long-term durability, while both the head valve and discharge pistol are made from special engineered polymer featuring an over-pressure mechanical safety valve for added reliability. An electricity-protective base provides additional safety in kitchen environments.
